Being our Senior Production Manager isn't like being in charge of the D-Day invasion. It's harder. It takes an iron-willed taskmaster, who has never seen a deadline she couldn't meet. It takes Shawanna Kendrick. After graduating from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Shawanna entered the highly competitive field of broadcast news production. Her determination saw her rise up through the markets until she was producing the 10 o'clock news for the Fox affiliate in Charlotte. Behind the cameras, she deftly assured that every story was factual, every script was grammatically correct, and all the reporters out in the field had their stories in on time and the tape was ready to roll. Sick of the bureaucracy, Shawanna's need to work with equally passionate and competitive people brought her to us here at AREA203. Now, she makes sure the right creatives are working on the right assignments, oversees change orders and briefs, handles billing and estimates, and manages vendor relationships. And woe be unto anyone who even thinks about missing a deadline.
