Posted by Brad Barker on 07/07/2010

Don’t run into blogger’s block. Below is a list of blog topics compiled from various other blog posts and lists (yes, it is another list, but better than many I see). I wanted to condense these topics down to 25 “hot” topics, which should increase your website traffic significantly.

  2. “Somebody has to say it” post
  3. What brands do poorly and possible remedies
  4. How men and women use social media differently
  5. The Internet application I haven’t seen
  6. Fixing conferences
  7. Who says what about your brand
  8. How to handle critics
  9. Building brands (interesting examples)
  10. Giving it away (the benefits of free stuff)
  11. LinkedIn as your business card
  12. Getting the most out of small marketing budgets
  13. Tutorials (with video/podcast)
  14. writersblock

  15. Interesting trends in advertising and marketing
  16. Debunk myths
  17. Respond to criticism posted elsewhere
  18. Expand and critique old blog posts from other bloggers
  19. Generally unknown secrets in your niché
  20. How marketing has evolved over the years (strategy, budgets)
  21. Post about something good, not great, and describe how it could become great
  22. Run a poll and post results
  23. “101″ ideas post
  24. Interview an industry leader and post it
  25. Comment on cool videos and embed the video in the post
  26. Comment on cool creative campaigns, websites, etc. and include examples in the post

I would love to expand this list with more “sticky” blog ideas. Feel free to share your ideas in the comments or complain about another list.

  1. Courtney Hume says:

I really like numbers 22 and 23. I like making lists because they are helpful. Also, interviewing someone that has experience in a certain industry is a great way to develop a better understanding of a subject.

I have found that there are several blog topic lists out there. Thanks for the suggestions!

  2. You are welcome Courtney. I am a list-maker as well. Lists always help me organize my thoughts and plans of action.
