AREA203 is looking for a Designer to join our quickly expanding team. We are interested in hiring a strong conceptual designer who is also a self-motivated solution provider. This person will be an integral part of the Creative Department and will answer directly to the Chief Creative Officer.
Essential Functions:
- Design a variety of interactive and static pieces from concept to final execution, including: brand identity, websites, email and landing page campaigns, internet marketing campaigns, print collateral, advertising campaigns, etc.
- Color correct/retouch photography
- Vector illustrations
- Optimize graphics for web and interactive projects
- Prepare files properly for programmer, printer or other outside vendor, client
- Maintain project deadlines and budget
- Estimate and manage time accurately and independently
- Communicate well with other team members
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed
Skills Required:
- Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Solid knowledge of print, web design, HTML (Flash a plus)
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within a short timeframe
- Ability to think strategically and create multiple solutions to address the needs of clients
- Meticulous attention to details
- Good communication skills and sense of humor
- Work well on a team
- Possess strong business ethics; be reliable and dependable
- Knowledge of SEO a plus
Experience Required:
A minimum of 5+ years experience of design in a professional setting.
A list of past produced print work or URLs required along with references.
