Affiliate Marketing Specialist

AREA203 is looking for an Affiliate Marketing Specialist to join our quickly expanding team. We are interested in hiring an experienced individual who will serve as the day-to-day contact for affiliate networks and publishers and have the responsibility of overseeing internal and external affiliate programs. The role also entails creating and implementing affiliate campaigns to focus on maximizing ROI and driving additional sales volume while working with the Affiliate team to analyze results and provide recommendations. This person will answer directly to the Affiliate Marketing Manager.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as main point of contact for affiliates and networks
- Collaborate with networks/affiliates to identify opportunities and problem-solve issues
- Implement and drive strategies to grow revenue from existing affiliates by initiating new campaign ideas, incentives and bonus offers
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with networks, affiliates, and potential partners
- Identify, contact, qualify, and recruit high-potential online marketing partners who are compatible with promoting our clients’ offers
- Development of communication strategies
- Develop and implement process improvements
- Work closely with the Account Strategist and Specialist to develop and launch desired online marketing campaigns and promotions with a consistent voice across channels
- Meet monthly and quarterly revenue and profitability goals
- Stay abreast of changes and trends in the online marketing industry, identify best practices, and determine how to apply them to clients’ businesses
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
- Participate in the development and implementation of short-term and long-term strategies, goals and objectives
- Attend and participate in team meetings, training seminars and workshops
- Occasional travel to industry conferences
- Additional duties as assigned

- Proficiency in MS Office, general knowledge of Internet and online services

- Ability to analyze potential opportunities and program effectiveness
- Ability to build strong relationships at all organizational levels, both internally and externally
Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of 3 years experience in direct response marketing, preferably in a high growth B2C market
- Experience with affiliate networks
- Experience using internet reporting tools such as Omniture is a plus
- Internet industry experience very helpful
